Bottle Experement

Hypothesis: The sound of air pitches at different levels when blown into air space.
Materials:

Empty juice bottles of different sizes
Water
Air

Procedure:

1. Arrange the empty juice bottles from the smallest to the     largest.

2, Blow air into the bottles, and listen to the pitch of the sound.

3 .Fill each bottle with water up to the level marked on the bottle.
once again,
4. Blow air into the bottle and listen to the pitch of the sound.

Results.
Once water was placed in the bottles,, the pitch of the sound changed according to the size of the bottle each time we blew into it.
This also came about with empty bottles, just blowing air into them. We found the larger the bottle, the lower the pitch of the sound.

Conclusion:

From this experiment, I have learnt that air pitches at different levels when blown into different sized bottles.

The Crowd Goes Wild

The CROWD GOES WILD! Everyone couldn't wait for the Olympics. The Olympics are the most important sporting event in the world.Staying at home because I was sick, made it easier for me to watch the Olympics. I was really surprised by the Fencing because I hadn't seen this sport before. What caught my attention was the way they used the sword and the protective clothing they wore. I was impressed by the  Synchronised swimming. Especially how the swimmers synchronised their moves and I wondered how long it took them to learn.

I so looking forward to the Shot Put and Valerie Adams at the next Olympics. I hope Valerie wins gold for  New Zealand again.
